- login to Admin Console
- go to Website & Content → Structure & Data → Products section
- make sure there are some products show (add some if you have none)
- perform search using search box in top right corner (does search across all fields in grid in one go)
- confirm, that:
- no SQL error happened
- when search using category name the product is actually found
